There has been endless debate concerning this but not much has changed. Even the UK’s top companies have employed armies of equal opportunities officers, diversity managers and HR professionals to sort this problem. In 1999, 7% of FTSE100 companies had one or more women on their board, by 2009 the figure had reached 12%.
So what is the solution?

Any stats on the proportion of FTSE directors who are women rather than just the number of Boards who have a woman on them?
